Iced Mint Coffee Latte

Mint and coffee? Trust me - if you’re into mint - you’re going to love this combination. This latte recipe is so refreshing and worth the extra effort. Fresh mint leaves simply are crushed with sugar and water then mixed with coffee and milk.

Iced Mint Coffee Latte

Ingredients

2 servings

  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves (packed)

  • 1 tbsp organic cane sugar

  • 2 tbsp hot water

  • 2 shots of cold coffee (1/4 cup)

  • 1/4 cup milk of choice

Directions

  1. Using a pestle and mortar (or small bowl and wooden spoon), crush the mint leaves and sugar until leaves are crushed and a green paste forms.

  2. Add the hot water and mix until the liquid turns green. Strain the liquid into a small bowl, making sure the squeeze out the liquid. Discarding the crushed leaves.

  3. Add the mint mixture to two glasses filled with ice.

  4. Add the coffee, then the milk.
