Spirulina Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl
Spirulina powder is my new favorite addition to smoothie bowls! Its a natural "algae" powder thats high in protein, antioxidants, and other nutrients. Plus, to be honest, I just love the color! It doesn't taste too great on its own, but when mixed with bananas and peanut butter, you can't even taste it!
- 4 frozen bananas
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 3 tsp spirulina powder
- 2 tbsp coconut milk
- Toppings of choice
In a food processor, or powerful blender, blend the frozen bananas, peanut butter, spirulina and coconut milk, until creamy. Add more milk if necessary.
Add your toppings and enjoy!
