Cilantro Lime Rice

Step aside plain white rice and enter Cilantro Lime Rice. It’s super easy to make: just cook rice, add a little bit of butter, lots of lime, and fresh chopped cilantro. It’s the perfect base for a bowl, burrito, or as a side dish.

Cilantro Lime Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice (I like to use Calrose rice)

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter

  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro leaves

Directions

  1. Cook your rice according to package directions.

  2. Once done, fluff with a fork and mix in the butter until melted.

  3. Let cool for a couple of minutes then mix in the lime juice and chopped cilantro.

  4. Serve it as a side or as the base of a bowl or burrito!
